Description: (Dutch .... to be translated!)
In zilver een uitgerukte boom van sinopel, getwijgd en gebladerd van hetzelfde, het schild overtopt met een helm van zilver, getralied, gehalsband en omboord van goud, gevoerd en gehecht van keel, met wrong en dekkleden van zilver en van sinopel.
Helmteken: een scherm van zilver, omzoomd van sinopel waaraan zeven kwastjes van hetzelfde, beladen met de boom van het schild.
Family coat of arms registrated by the Heraldisch College of the 'Vlaamse Verening voor Familiekunde' on Juni first, 1974, number 4.

Egidius is 'Gilles' duGardeyn baptized in Zwevegem on Januari 11, 1654.
The 'Zeeland Flanders' branch of the genealogy 'de Gardeijn' was investigated by 'Jacques' de Gardeijn.
He spend more than 25 years on his research. The results are in a few 'blueprints'.
