   In the year NINETEEN HUNDRED AND THIRTEEN,
the
twenty fourth of the month April appeared for me, Civil servant of the Records Office of the ZUIDZANDE, municipality in the town hall, in order to enter into marriage:

aged twenty-six years, of occupation field worker
born at Zuidzande, living in Zuidzande

adultson of Jacobus Johannes de Gardeijn, aged fifty-eight years and of Loisa Bruijsschaat calling herself Levina Bruijsschaart, aged fifty-three years, field workers, both living in Zuidzande

and
Tannetje Elve

aged twenty-five years, of occupation maid born at Cadzand, living in Zuidzande adult daughter of Cornelis Johannes Elve, and of Maria de Visser, both deceased

Given: the birth certificates of bridegroom and bride, the death certificates of the parents of the bride, and the oral statement by the groom and the bride's parents and the four witnesses that Loisa Bruijsschaat and Levina Bruijsschaart is the same person, the verbal explanation of the parents of the bridegroom, both present here today that their consent to their son in this marriage.

   Since no impediments to the celebration of this marriage for my notified and announcements in this municipality, on Sundays, the thirteenth and twentieth April

this year without interruption are finished, I asked the persons appearing in public, whether they accept each other as spouse, and faithfully perform the duties required by the law of the martrimonial state connected. Once these questions are both affirmative answered, by me in the name of the law I declare, they are really linked together.

   Which this deed has been drawn in the presence of:
Adriaan de Gardeijn, aged forty-eight years,
of occupation butcher, living in Groede;
Jacobus Goossen, aged twenty-nine years,
of occupation field laborer, living in Retranchement;
Jannes de Visser, aged forty-five years,
of occupation field laborer, living in Groede;
Jacob de Meij, aged twenty-six years,
of occupation field laborer, living in Cadzand;
being the first witness brother, the second witness brother-in-law of the bridegroom, third witness uncle and fourth witness brother-in-law of the bride.

   And after having done reading the deed the groom, the bride, and the four witnesses with me, official from the Civil servant of the Records Office signed it, declaring the parents of the groom not to sign, as having not learned to write.

aged thirty years, of occupation worker living in Biervliet, which declared, that on the third of the month of February in the year eighteen hundred fifty two ,in the after noon at three o'clock, in this municipality, in the home district of D, number sixty-nine a was born a child of the male gender, from him declarant and from Suzanna Levina Waage, of occupation worker living in Biervliet, his wife to which child he declares to give the name of Abraham

the declaration and statement were done in the presence of Cornelis Michielsen , aged fourty-six years, of occupation worker , living in Biervliet , and of Abraham Jansen , aged fifty-one years, of occupation shopkeeper , living in Biervliet, as witnesses elected by the declarant.
   And is at once made this deed, which after the reading to the declarant and the witnesses, signed by them and me,
